Wellings Romantik Hotel zur Linde

To visit my friends in Moers Germany I reserved a room in the zur Linde Hotel . First off all congratulations to the cleaning personnel. You don't encounter much such clean rooms . Also the friendly staff was amazing . I'm not amazed that's this is one of the best hotels in Germany.

Reception closes evening time not reopen until morning, but they turn off the lights in that area which is the route from the dining room to the bedrooms. It also contains a step which cannot be seen in the dark. Having a bad fall off this step which I was informed by staff has had some previous BAD accidents, Destroyed my holiday, ended on crutches and a boot and was not allowed work for 2 weeks. Travelling to Germany with 20+ years I’ve never received such terrible response from an establishment who market themselves as “happy moments”. Written to the owners as I didn’t want to review it without contacting them. Did this twice, Not got a response. This shows customers are not important all they want is the money. To add insult to injury they removed the cost of the breakfast off the bill.

We stayed here recently for a wedding and the reception was at the hotel. The whole event, from the venue, the staff and the food was excellent.||||We have stayed here several times before and therefore had a good idea what to expect. The hotel is charming with a lovely mix of traditional and contemporary decor. Our room was small but comfortable, clean and quiet with shutters to avoid early morning sunshine. ||||The bar has a lot of character and is my favourite place to eat in the evening. I hope they never change it. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient and the food is delicious.||||The breakfast is my favourite in the whole of Germany. Not only is the food 1st class, but there is a wide selection to suit all tastes and the breakfast area is also delightful. ||||In summary I would have no hesitation in recommending this place and hope that maybe someday I can visit again..

Very nice, clean and spacious room and the hotel has nice ball rooms that you can celebrate special occasions in (birthdays, weddings etc) - we went there to attend a birthday celebration and the food was delicious.

What a place. Small town, near Duisburg. Recommendation fro our business parter has turned out to be just perfect. Small, domestic hotel, nice interior, spacious rooms, quiet location. They have very good restaurant with local specialities, very usefull meeting rooms, good breakfast selection and undergroung parking garage. I will certainly come back next time.||Highly recommendable!

I recently stayed here and I must say I loved it! Driving up was a little strange as it looked liked we were in a residential area. Then when we checked in we got told one of our colleagues would be staying in another building. However it turns out he got the bridal sweet with a jacuzzi! The hotel is very cute and quirky with lots of ornaments etc outside the room I stayed in had a red theme and all of the pictures matched this. You can borrow a bike from the hotel and cycle in the countryside there is a park nearby and about 10 mins cycle are some lovely horses. Moers is a 17 minutes cycle away too. ||The breakfast here was good there was a great selection of tea, smoothies etc and the staff were lovely! ||Highly recommend this hotel.

Spend 4 nights there in the middle of winter. The new room have heated floor, clean, and very well designed. Love it. |The restaurant food is good. Breakfast is excellent even they have limited choice. The the staff in at the bar are also very friendly. Will come back next time I am in moers.

This place is exceptional. The room was great. The breakfast was better than top notch. A morning walk around the neighborhood was wonderful. Bottom line I cannot say enough to let follks know how much my brief visit was appreciated.
